UML’s Ghimire registers candidacy for HoR speaker

Kathmandu : CPN (UML) lawmaker Dev Raj Ghimire has registered his candidacy for the post of speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR).
Federal Parliament Secretariat’s spokesperson and joint secretary Yek Ram Giri informed that lawmaker Ghimire filed his candidacy at the Federal Parliament this afternoon.
Ghimire was proposed by the UML lawmaker Suwash Chandra Nemwang and supported by the CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Hitaraj Pande, Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) chair Rajendra Lingden and Rashtriya Swatantra Party chairman Ravi Lamichhane.
